The June 24, 2011 Workers’ Comp Reform brought about a few changes with regards to Temporary Total Disability (TTD) and Temporary Partial Disability (TPD).

  • For injuries prior to 6/24/11, there are no caps on TTD benefits.
  • For injuries prior to 6/24/11, there was a 300 week cap on TPD benefits, and the 300 weeks started running on the date of injury.
  • For injuries on or after 6/24/11, there is a 500 week cap on BOTH TTD AND TPD benefits, and the 500 weeks starts running on the first date of disability– which may or may not be the date of injury.
