NC Industrial Commission to Allow In-Person Hearings Oct. 1
The North Carolina Industrial Commission (NCIC) will resume in-person hearings with the Deputy Commissioner and the Full Commission beginning Oct. 1, 2021.
For Deputy Commissioner hearings, video conferences will be allowed only if approved by the Deputy Commissioner and if a good cause for a remote hearing has been provided. For Full Commission hearings, video conferences will be allowed if both parties consent to remote hearings.
All hearings will follow the COVID-19 protocols as outlined by the county courts or the building where the hearings will be held. Full Commission hearings will follow COVID-19 protocols for Wake County Courts.
