Katelyn Babson, an attorney based in the Raleigh office of Cranfill Sumner & Hartzog LLP, recently planned and implemented an event for the Triangle Chapter of the Alliance of Women in Workers’ Compensation (AWWC).

The November 7, 2018 event—“Navigating Your Course”—consisted of a networking social and a guest speaker from Pepsi, who discussed navigating workers’ compensation from an employer’s perspective.

The event was held at Mia Francesca Trattoria and attracted more than 60 professionals from the workers’ compensation industry. Katelyn is the Ambassador for the regional chapter of the AWWC, a national organization dedicated to serving the workers’ compensation industry through networking, support, mentoring and collaboration.
