Jennifer Morris Jones Participates in WCI Give Kids the World Service Day
On Aug. 18, Jennifer Morris Jones joined attendees of the WCI 2018 conference for the 2018 WCI Give Kids the World Service Day. Give Kids The World Village is an 84-acre, nonprofit resort in Central Florida that provides week-long, cost-free vacations to children with life-threatening illnesses and their families.
Each year, the WCI Conference partners with Give Kids the World to provide a service day for various projects around the campus. This year’s participants helped with “Village Beautifications” for each of the 144 villas located on property, 13 service projects, and work in venues with kids.
Following the service day, WCI 2018 hosted the 5th Annual WCI Give Kids the World Dinner, Gala, and Silent Auction at the Orlando World Center Marriott from 5-11 p.m. Cranfill Sumner & Hartzog LLP was proud to serve as a sponsor of the gala and dinner.
Jennifer is a partner in the CSH Law Workers’ Compensation Practice Group and is based in the firm’s Raleigh office. On Aug. 21, she will moderate a panel discussion at the WCI 2018 Conference entitled “New Waves In Medical Treatment: Perspectives On Challenges And Out-Of-The Box Approaches To Management Of Opioids, Marijuana And Telemedicine In Workers’ Compensation Claims.”
