Elizabeth Lewis Selected to Write Questions for Paralegal Certification Exam
Elizabeth Lewis, a Workers’ Comp paralegal in the Raleigh office of Cranfill Sumner & Hartzog LLP, has been selected to participate in an Item Writing Workshop through the Paralegal Certification Committee (PCC). The Workshop participants assist the PCC with the creation of new questions for the North Carolina Certified Paralegal Exam.
Elizabeth will participate in training and writing sessions from January through March 2014 and will be assigned a PCC member as a mentor through the process.
This is the seventh year that the North Carolina Certified Paralegal Exam has been administered. The exam is organized into five core competencies or domains. The domains identify several tasks required for the proficient performance of a North Carolina Certified Paralegal in his/her job and are tested by questions on a particular area of law (e.g., civil litigation).
