Jerri Simmons and Nick Valaoras presented a Case Law Update at the North Carolina Association of Self-Insurer’s (NCASI) 2025 Annual Conference in Wrightsville Beach on March 26.

The Case Law Update focused on the latest information regarding legal cases about employers and workers’ compensation.

NCASI is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting the interests of employers self-insured for workers’ compensation and whose membership includes claims professionals and legal firms active in workers’ compensation, rehab specialists, TPA’s, surveillance professionals, and a number of other supporting members.

Jerri and Nick are Partners in the Charlotte office of Cranfill Sumner LLP and are members of the firm’s Risk Management and Workers’ Compensation Practice Group.
