Brian Kromke Elected to Serve on Kids’ Chance Board of Directors
Kromke chairs organization’s fishing tournament planning committee
Brian Kromke, an attorney in the Wilmington office of Cranfill Sumner & Hartzog LLP, was recently elected to the Board of Directors for Kids’ Chance of North Carolina, Inc., a nonprofit organization that provides educational scholarships to the children of North Carolina workers who have been injured or killed in work-related accidents.
“I’m excited to be joining the board of directors for Kids’ Chance of North Carolina and to be contributing to the excellent service and opportunities that it provides to the children of injured workers in our state,” Kromke said.
Prior to joining the board of directors, Kromke served as a volunteer for Kids’ Chance of North Carolina and founded the Inaugural Kids’ Chance of North Carolina In-Shore Charity Fishing Tournament in 2013. Under Kromke’s leadership, the tournament raised more than $2,000 in scholarship funds. He will serve as the chair of the 2014 Kids’ Chance of North Carolina In-Shore Charity Fishing Tournament.
Founded in 2004, Kids’ Chance of North Carolina, Inc., is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization which is supported by the national Kids’ Chance organization. It raises scholarship funds through donations.
