Jake Stewart is based in the Charlotte office of Cranfill Sumner LLP, where he practices workers’ compensation and employment law.
Jake has had the opportunity to handle a variety of different types of workers’ compensation claims. He has experience handling all types of injury by accident and specific traumatic incident claims, as well as occupational disease claims where work-related exposure to asbestos and other hazardous materials is alleged. Additionally, he has experience handling death claims for both occupational disease claims and injury by accident claims. Jake enjoys working with clients to determine their needs and goals, and then achieving those goals at mediation and in litigation before the Industrial Commission.
Jake also works with employers and carriers to assist them with claims of harassment and discrimination before the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and Department of Labor, where he has obtained favorable outcomes in a number of matters.
Jake attended Roanoke College as an undergraduate and graduated from South Carolina School of Law with his law degree in 2016.
