Guide to New NCIC Filing Rules
Starting Monday, February 1, 2016, the NC Industrial Commission is requiring electronic submission of documents for filing. We’ve created a handy reference tool which identifies the specific Forms and documents which must be filed through the Electronic Document Filing Portal (EDFP) (such as Forms 24 and 26A); those which must be filed via e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org (such as Forms 60, 61, 63, 28, 28B, 28C, 28T); and those that have a specific e-mail address with the Industrial Commission (such as Medical Motions, email@example.com).
All parties who have to upload documents to the Industrial Commission via EDFP must first obtain an NCID (North Carolina ID) and register with the Industrial Commission. You can click on this link to complete the registration process http://www.ic.nc.gov/EDFPregistrationInstructions.pdf
If you have any questions about this process, please don’t hesitate to contact us!
