Amy L. Pfeiffer is a partner in the firm’s Raleigh office and has been practicing law in North Carolina since 1991.  She is a Board Certified Specialist in Workers’ Compensation Law and a Certified Mediator through the North Carolina Dispute Resolution Commission.  Amy brings a unique perspective to her work; in her varied legal career, she worked for the North Carolina Industrial Commission for 10 years, where she served as a Deputy Commissioner for over six years, and before that she served as a Special Deputy Commissioner and an Agency Legal Specialist for the Commission.  She has been representing employers and insurance companies since 2004 at Cranfill, Sumner & Hartzog.  She also mediates workers’ compensation claims. Amy maintains the highest rating with Martindale Hubbell (AV), which is the most prestigious peer review rating for attorneys.  Amy has an undergraduate degree from North Carolina State University, and a law degree from The Catholic University of America in Washington, D.C.   After graduating from law school, Amy clerked for a year with a judge on the N.C. Court of Appeals.  Amy takes pride in serving her clients with integrity and tenacity.
